I recently got introduced to lever nuts after decades of wiring the "old fashioned" way. I have to admit that these things are fast, easy to use and grab the wire tenaciously. Since I am looking at a fairly large number of outlets that need to be replaced in the near future I bought this kit to get me started.

When the kit arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and number of nuts and how nicely organized they were in their case. The cost for this kit was very reasonable for what comes with it making it a good value in my opinion. The fact that you can install these and then simply take them out and reuse them again if you change your mind makes the value even better. The entire kit is compact and fits easily in my small electrical wiring kit.

If you are looking for a great starter kit that includes a decent number of all of the useful sizes, this lever nut kit is the one to get. I definitely recommend this.

These are expensive, but work really well. They made hanging a chandelier easier because I was able to make the electrical connection with one hand while holding the chandelier with the other. I wouldn’t have been able to do that using a wire nut. Also, when some connections weren’t quite sufficient it was simple to redo them and the wire wasn’t frayed and damaged as a result of multiple uses.
