Perfect for getting yourself to sit up straight plus apply heat as needed for a sore back
This back brace & posture corrector is just what I needed. I have a bad habit of hunching over my computer which is leading to back soreness and pain. With all of the adjustable straps, it was easy to get this to fit me just right. So far I've only tried wearing it over clothes, but its been very comfortable, even the straps going under my arms. I'm wearing it now, with the heating pad on, as I'm typing this at my desk. I don't know why they included a leaflet with a size guide. I think an instruction sheet for how to put the brace on or a manual with the specs for the heating pad would have been more helpful. I also couldn't find any care instructions anywhere (product page, on the item itself, the bag it came in). However, it wasn't hard to put it on, even by myself. I couldn't film myself putting it on, but I tried to show in my video the order of the straps that I found worked best: -first the wide strap that goes around your stomach -second the shoulder straps (the strap by your left ribs will adjust the right shoulder loop and the right rib strap adjusts the left shoulder loop) -third the small strap near the bottom of the brace (it's sewn in the back and stretches on either side) The heating pad has a velvety soft side that will go against your back. It is limited to the middle of the inside of your brace, but that's where your spine should be and where I think most people will want heat anyways. It needs to be plugged in to a USB port to work. I like that there are 3 levels of heat and 3 adjustable timers from 30, 45, and 60 minutes, a very good safety feature for anything involving heat. The light changes color from red, yellow & green to show you what setting you're on, which is fine (unless you're red/green colorblind). It heats up quickly and I've found the timers to be accurate so far. The pocket is a nice idea in theory, but it may not be very useful for everyone. It'll be on your right side, exact location on your torso dependent on how your straps are placed. For me, it's right under my breast so it's difficult to reach into it and anything sticking out of the pocket would also poke me. However, the cord for this is long enough that it's not a problem to just have it plugged into my computer while at my desk. If you waned to have more mobility by using a battery pack instead, you might want to plan on carrying the battery pack yourself since the pocket isn't necessarily always easily accessible for everyone.
